I absolutely love weddings! I got the bug to become a wedding planner after organising my own boho wedding within six months of being proposed to on Valentines Day to the big day itself! I worked on it daily full time, with attention to detail and had everything organised by our memorable August wedding day, phew! I enjoyed every moment of it.
When I was planning my wedding day I came across many wedding industry professionals who were mostly supplying generic services which didn't allow me to find a wedding style which would have helped me to visualise how to plan it better in terms of décor and styling. Looking back at my wedding day, the ceremony was outdoors on a gazebo at the end of a jetty on a lake, adorned with beautiful seasonal florals, with our reception in a marquee, so when thinking of my wedding niche, I found my style to be a boho luxe wedding.
Looking back I also wish I had booked the services of a wedding planner, who would have managed our wedding day so it could have gone more smoothly then it did, then we would have had the music playing from both speakers in the marquee during the buffet, the signing of the register song would have been played and the lit up bay trees inside the marquee would have been delivered! This is what wedding planners do on your wedding day, ensure all is delivered and set up as planned. I want to ensure you get your special day minus the sorts of issues I experienced.
Friends and family describe me as caring and thoughtful, a good communicator, and they say I have a good eye for details. I believe these are important qualities to have in your wedding planner.
I have collaborated with other wedding planners on their weddings, assisting with decorating wedding venues, from putting up neon light boxes, to decorating table centre-pieces, and ceremony chairs.
