Cressing Temple Barns Styled Shoot

Updated: Aug 10, 2021

For this styled shoot at the lovely Cressing Temple Barns, I wanted to showcase how you can have a rustic boho wedding in a barn setting. The neutral colours of a setting like this work beautifully with the rustic boho styling elements such as this beautiful pampas floral arrangement made by the talented C Taylor's Floristry and supplied by our shoot prop supplier Simply Rustic, who also supplied the wedding arch with macramé, the demijohn vases with pampas, vintage rugs, and peacock chairs.

These gorgeous styling elements are perfect for a venue such as a barn. The arch can be either inside the barn or outside in the grounds, and your wedding reception can be inside the barn, as you please. You can have pops of colour in amongst the neutral colours of a rustic setting and these can be added to your wedding arch if you choose to have one, with bright seasonal flowers. Or they can be added to your tables and in the aisle for your ceremony. You can choose your colour palette to be completely neutral or with pops of bright colour added to the neutrals, whichever way you choose it will look beautiful.

The bridal bouquet was a choice of beautiful creams, whites and peach tones adorned with gorgeous pale bunny tails and greenery made by The Terrace London, who also adorned the peacock chairs with gorgeous pink Colombian hydrangeas. All was beautifully shot by Louise Goodey Photography whose style of dark and moody works well with rustic boho wedding styling.

The model is my niece who kindly offered to be our bride model, and this was her first time modelling on a photo shoot, and doesn't she look lovely in my wedding dress!
