The inspiration for this shoot was my love of all things boho, I think in part because I grew up surrounded by those eclectic, hippy boho styles of that wonderful era, which I believe shaped my way of looking at the world and how I expressed myself growing up, so at heart, the boho style is what I am most drawn to. Therefore, it was no surprise that when I had my rustic boho wedding and became a wedding planner I wanted my niche to be planning rustic boho weddings!
I love following venues and wedding suppliers that also inspire this boho style and show off a rustic boho theme in their products/services, and how they present their space. So when I visited Oak Tree Barn Weddings, I knew I had to absolutely have my styled shoot there, it is a gorgeous eclectic bohemian wedding venue for the free-spirited and people who want something different. I knew we could maximise all the beautiful parts of the venue, setting up our lovely tablescape in their gorgeous barn, the fabulous hat tipi for the lounge area, to the pretty ceremony area where we were able to showcase all the gorgeous rustic boho decor in all the instagrammable areas of this lovely venue. So we knew our love story in the woods with a beautiful boho woodland vibe would fit perfectly at Oak Tree Barn wedding venue. When the team came together I knew we all shared a love of all things boho, and I am genuinely proud to have worked with a super-talented group of amazing wedding suppliers, and bringing them together with my passion for boho weddings was just truly magical and wow doesn’t it show!

The result speaks for itself, we were all happy seeing how well everything came together and feeling proud that our collective creativity shone through and was perfectly married to the concept for the shoot.
